Students

We welcome prospective students, their families and friends to visit our program. The University fall and spring Open House through Admissions is a good time to meet with faculty and students, tour studios and view work. Other opportunities exist throughout the year to visit classes and experience the culture of the interior design program at Appalachian State. Interior Design Ambassadors, students who apply and are appointed by the program, are happy to meet with prospective students, provide tours and answer questions — student to student. To arrange a visit, please email the faculty sponsor of the Interior Design Ambassador Program, Jeanne Mercer-Ballard at mercerja@appstate.edu. We also suggest that you arrange a campus tour through Admissions in order to learn more about the University.
