Required Equipment

A laptop computer is required in the interior design program. Please see below for specific hardware information. Students have access to discounted hardware and software available through the university Bookstore and on‐line resources. AutoDesk software required for courses will run on PC/Windows based computers only (NOT Mac). Software information will be distributed in the introductory courses for the student to purchase. A digital camera is highly recommended in the interior design program and will facilitate the completion of numerous projects.

Memory	16 GB RAM Usually sufficient for a typical editing session for a single model up to approximately 300 MB on disk. This estimate is based on internal testing and customer reports. Individual models will vary in their use of computer resources and performance characteristics. Models created in previous versions of Revit software products may require more available memory for the one-time upgrade process.
