Emily Maass, Instructor in the Interior Design program at ASU, assigned an interesting project to her students in Visual Literacy II class. Their goal was to design a chicken coop for the Two Rivers Community School (TRCS) chicken, Lucy. 13 students presented their chicken coop designs to TRCS Director Jessica Gilway and TRCS Board of Directors Chair Lynnwood Brown who provided feedback. Next year, there’s a possibility for ASU students in building science courses to build one of the coops that were designed.
